Medicare rebate and private health cover rebate may be possible for your counselling sessions
SESSION FEES
Initial appointment and all subsequent appointments:
$230 - 50-minute appointment
Payment can be made via Direct Bank Transfer or the Smart Mini Square (1.1% surcharge).
MEDICARE
I provide counselling under the Medicare Better Access Program for clients. You may access a Mental Health Care Plan referral from your doctor and this will enable you to receive a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session. The Medicare rebate is available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The gap payment would be $133.35 per session.
PRIVATE HEALTH COVER
I encourage you to check directly with your private health insurance around eligibility for rebates based on your cover. It is not guaranteed that sessions will be covered as this is dependent on your selected provider and level of cover.

Cancellation Policy
As session times are in high demand, at least 48-hours’ notice is required.
If you cancel the day of your session or fail to arrive for a session, inclusive of forgetting it was scheduled, the full session fee will be incurred. Day of cancellations impacts both clients waiting for a session and the psychologist who prepared for the session.
For any appointments on Mondays, notifications of any reschedules are to be received by the latest the Friday prior. Weekends are considered out of hours. Any sessions not confirmed by 12PM the day prior, or Friday for sessions scheduled on Mondays, will be need to be removed and will be offered to the next client on the waitlist.
Telehealth sessions are offered as an alternative should you be too unwell to attend in person.
